Safety Standards
Safety isn't an option: it's the framework we operate within.
All our boats, equipment, and protocols meet or exceed Transport Canada requirements. Here's how we guarantee peace of mind on every outing.
Certified crew
All our captains hold a current Transport Canada certification and complete annual refreshers. First aid and emergency operations are part of their ongoing training.
Onboard safety equipment
Each boat is equipped with approved life jackets (adults and children), fire extinguishers, first aid kit, VHF radio, distress signals, and GPS beacons compliant with regulatory requirements.
Pre-departure inspection
A complete checklist (mechanical, navigation, communication, rescue) is run by the captain before every departure. No boat leaves the dock without full validation.
Weather conditions
We continuously monitor Environment Canada bulletins. Any outing is cancelled or rescheduled at no cost in case of dangerous conditions (severe storms, strong winds).
Passenger briefing
Before each outing, a brief covers the location of safety equipment, actions in case of an incident, and behavior rules on board.
Liability insurance
Our fleet is covered by commercial liability insurance. A certificate copy is available on request for corporate events.
